Stanley`s Restaurant in Central Falls

My whole family loves this place, including my 4 year old. Everyone that works here is so friendly. Plus if you sit up front you get to watch your food being cooked on the grill. The burgers are perfectly greasy and the fries are plentiful! Only burger spot in the area that isn't a chain. Definitely a great find and keeps you coming back.

I know it's supposed to be legendary and blahs blahs blahs but I really dont like the Stanely burger. My grandfather used to love this place but I never cared for the onions. They DO have tremendous french fries. Cool atmosphere, very colorful after midnight!

So Worth the wait- my now husband promised me 11 yrs ago we would go to his & his uncle's favorite burger place. They are very friendly, attentive etc. Lots of choices- have clear protection walls in place due to covid19.

How can u not love this iconic place! I have had the privilege to eat hear since I can remember! The food has stayed consistent throughout the decades they have been around.just thinking of a plate full of Qubec fries makes my mouth water. My one an only complaint is there seems to be less meat in their burgers these days. Despite that I have never had a bad experience at Stanley's. I only have awesome memories of good atmosphere, great service,and AWESOME food!

Very reasonable. You can eat for under $10 dollars. I had a cheese burger large soda, cheese and bacon fries. The parking lot is onthe side of the bldg. You have to step up to enter the bldg. The decor is like walking into Happy Days. Each burger is served with fried onions and pickles. The bldg has a big neon sign outside. If u go by the storage bldg. The former Gorman's Bakery than turn around. If you love a good burger try Stanley's. And on Friday's they have. Fish & Chips for a $11.95., Seafood platter for $25.95. Clam cakes and chowder. You can eat in or do take out. They do a big take out business from what I could see. Happy trails.

Out for a walk and got drawn in by the awesome aroma. They were great squeezing in our small order, and as usual the burgers were delicious

If you have never eaten at Stanley’s then you haven’t really been to Rhode Island. Not eating at Stanley’s is like going to New York City for the first time and not going to the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building or Times Square. It is not only a historical place to eat, it has fantastic food made of high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. It has a very Friendly atmosphere that makes you feel as comfortable as you would in a good friend’s house. The staff is very attentive and the owner is hilarious and charming!! Highly recommend eating here!!

Mediocre. Tasteless. Void of seasoning. If you like cheap food this is the place for you. If you want cheap food that actually tastes good.. go elsewhere. The only good thing about this place is the service. The staff are quite friendly.

A nice go to burger place. Recommend to anybody who likes a good burger from a old-fashioned Diner. Nancy's amazing server. She feels like my grandma that I never had.

As far as burger joints go, there's none better than Stanley's. Simple classic burgers and hand cut fries made from the freshest ingredients at a price anyone can afford.

Used to eat here as early as 1985; when teenagers barely in puberty had pockets full of money. Still tastes the same, but the burgers have shrunk. I come for the memories.

Today was our first time there the smell coming from the door was enough to make us hungry bjt the actual food itself was out of this World. The burgers are amazing. The Quebec fries and chili cheese fries are great as well. Staff is friendly great place for a family. Thanks Stanley's we'll be back.

This place is an institution. You can smell grilled onions from the parking lot and they go perfectly with the smashed burger patty and pickles as the classic Stanley burger is a must get or the many multiple patties and toppings options. I also grabbed a chili dog and they pile on their homemade chili which is thick and delicious. Quebec fries are awesome and you just wish you had a bottomless stomach because the food has a great taste of nostalgia and just yummy homemade quality. The decor is amazing especially the old Seeberg speakers and it has a good mix of out of towners and locals. It's a Must try and must return, it's been there since 1932 for a reason because it is great!

The French Fries are not hand cut anymore#! Other than that the food is great#!😊

Some of the best burgers I've ever had! They are fresh off the grill and toppings are tailored to how you like. They have an awesome dish called Quebec Fries (which is basically poutine) that is one of my favorite things to order. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and meals that are outstanding as well. They also have hard-working staff that have always been very polite. Just a heads-up for newcomers, they are no longer taking cards for payment anymore (they have to pay your credit card company high fees, and they can't afford it.) Luckily, they have installed an ATM in the restaurant if you don't have any physical cash. I love this restaurant and have been going here since I was a kid!

There is a parking lot for about 8-10 cars.Very noticeable from the street. Great signage.Once inside decorated vintage. Bright, love the way it is inside.Greeted with hello as soon as we walked in. Seated right away. Waitress was there within reasonable time.Didn't take long for our food. I ordered Mushroom Cheese burger, Onion Rings and French Fries. Boyfriend order Cheeseburger Club. Everything was hot, delicious and great portions.Would come back.

The waitress forgot to put our order of fries through and then rushed them in the fryer not cooking them all the way. When we said that about them not being cooked all the way a waitress commented it's not potato season so they cook differently 😳 they tried making an excuse because our food was rushed instead of admiting it was because being rushed that they were not cooked thoroughly. Highly disappointed will not be back.

Used to go religiously miss every minute very nostalgic about it and lots of great staff love this place!

When I was a teenager back in the 80's I would go to Stanley's at least two to three times a week, the burgers there were the best and now that I am in my 50's I try to travel back to Rhode Island not just to see relatives but the real reason is to be able to go to Stanley Burgers. I live in Orlando, FL and my job has taken me to 48 states and I have been around the world and to this day I have not found a burger anywhere close to the taste of a Stanley Burger. Stanley Burgers are #1

Came here with my kids, we were able to be seated quickly. Great customer service, burgers were really good. We got a large platter of fries that was enough for 3. Would definitely be going back. The shakes were really good too.

The hamburger was so thin it was sad for the high price they charge for a mushroom cheese burger! One bun side is way bigger then the burger! McDonald's hamburger is bigger and cheaper!! The burger was also dry and overcooked!! Almost $4.00 for mushroom, buns, and cheese as the burger..NASTY!! I also shared a small Quebec fry ( fries with cheese & brown gravy). I believe that was $5.00 but, at least kinda worth the money as in delish! The waitress was great! The floor was very greasy I almost fell!! They are famous and well known but that was in the PAST! I don't know if it's still true about everyone loving "Stanley's" because there is NOTHING to bag about Stanley's Burgers!! As there is NO BURGER!! I will only return for the fries!!

Let me be clear: I love Stanley's Famous Hamburgers. But are they 5 stars? No. I love everything I've eaten on their menu. They do awesome burger deals from time to time + their lobster rolls are a pretty good deal if you're looking for a quick lobster fix. I'm very picky about tuna melts and their's hits the spot. But the real star: the fries. I don't live very far yet still have half the bag gone before I get home.The servers are incredibly sweet. Even slammed, they are still friendly and helpful. There is one there that could probably win any multitasking competition, if such a thing exists.The opportunities: 1. The hours of operation change frequently and are typically only communicated by changing page listings + the sign on the door. Sometimes they're open on Sundays and do a Sunday Funday special, other times they're closed on Sundays.2. I would love the ability to order online

Even if you don't mind the lack of quality they put into their food now, or the increase in price every month it seems the ownership/management is so cheap when their card readers went down they charged the customer extra to use their card through their temporary system, which in most places its illegal to charge someone more to use a debit card. The owner wasnt even adult enough to come to my table to threaten to call the cops on me themselves they had the waitress do it, after all I said was "if I'm forced to pay an extra 5 dollars to use my car I won't be returning " and that I'd been a customer for 18 years at that time, apparently $5 is worth more than their customer.

This spot is in such a discreet location you might miss it if you drive by I highly recommend coming to this place if you like burgers and like real authentic tasting food. Nothing makes me happier than a place that is welcoming when they see you again and makes you feel like family when you leave. Outstanding service always smiling faces and delicious food this spot should have a line out the door, but I'm glad it doesn't so that I may enjoy it regularly. Kudos on being top notch!!

Food smelled amazing and taste amazing!! Im from up north and poutine is a big deal where im from this is the only place around that has "quebec style fries" aka poutine. I ask for extra gravy i dont like mine dry. Sooooo good!! 😊
